Doug Van Hooser writes and resides in the Chicago area and southern Wisconsin where he cycles, sculls, and uses an alias when Baristas ask him his name.  He’s a graduate of the University of Illinois, married with two children. His poetry and fiction can be found in over sixty literary publications in print and online. A number of his plays can be read on The New Play Exchange. Doug’s poetry has been nominated for The Orison Anthology and the 2022 Pushcart Prize.
